Week #1

Nightwings notes
  • First person narrative
  • Paneling and word bobbles seem cramped, I'm not sure where to read/look next
  • Text in bobbles seem overly cramped as well
  • Detailed
  • Has a serious tone
  • Text heavy
  • Image heavy
  • Just really really heavy
  • Lots of warm colors
  • This comic really has a strong 80s feeling to me, more so than the others
The Merchants Of Venus notes
  • First person narrative
  • Lots of close ups
  • Weird hair (haha) and look at those eyebrows!
  • Funny
  • Easy to fallow
  • Flowy
  • Lots of overlaying
  • Cramped
  • Most of the images don't really have "backgrounds"
  • Foreground heavy images
Hell on Earth notes
  • Panels stay the same for the most part, once things start getting crazy the panels frames and such get more broken along with the story
  • Clear
  • Easy to fallow
  • Not over text heavy
  • Balanced
  • Not image heavy
Frost and Fire notes
  • Lose drawing style
  • Pictures feel vary open
  • Not text heavy
  • Balanced
  • Easy to read
  • Panels are tight
  • Wide paneling
  • Good panel comp
  • Full page drawings
  • Dark colors
